The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kano State has apprehended seven individuals on suspicion of damaging cables at multiple locations throughout the state,Daily Trust reports.

This development was revealed by the command’s spokesperson, DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, during a press briefing in Kano on Thursday.

According to Abdullahi, the arrests resulted from diligent intelligence surveillance conducted by the command’s team in collaboration with local vigilante groups.

He further stated that the investigations into these incidents have been concluded, and the suspects are set to face charges in court for offenses including conspiracy, vandalism, and the possession of stolen property.
