Early on Tuesday, a tragic incident unfolded in the Korinya community of Konshisha Local Government Area in Benue State, where a man reportedly fatally stabbed his wife.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Catherine Anene, confirmed the event but mentioned that the details were still limited as she awaited the report from the Divisional Police Officer of Konshisha.

According to the preliminary information available, the man engaged in a dispute with his wife, during which he used a knife-like object to stab her. The force of this assault led to her untimely demise.
The deceased woman was identified by a local resident as Mngusunun, and her husband as Bem Matthew Korinya. This incident caused a considerable stir within the rural community.
