The Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Sanwo-Olu, has inaugurated over 150 classrooms and hostels across 20 local government areas and 57 local council development areas of the state, Punch reports.
Addressing journalists during the inauguration in Ikeja, Sanwo-Olu said that the virtual launch of the projects was necessary to enable children to have access to schools and hostels.
The governor also said 1386-bed hostels were also commissioned.
He said, “The virtual commissioning becomes necessary to enable children to have access to the classrooms and hostels. A total of 150 classrooms will be commissioned and 1386.
