Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State unveiled a book titled “What Yar’adua Told Me and Taught Me” on Sunday, shedding light on the wisdom and teachings of former President Umaru Musa Yar’adua. The book, authored by Mr. Muttaqa Rabe-Darma, former Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), spans over 600 pages,Daily Trust reports.
The unveiling took place during a prayer session commemorating the 14th remembrance and prayer day for the late president at Katsina. Various scholars gathered at the Katsina Government House to offer prayers for the peaceful repose of Yar’adua’s soul, seeking Allah’s forgiveness and blessings for him in the afterlife.
Governor Radda emphasized Yar’adua’s remarkable qualities of humility, dedication, and discipline in his remarks. Former state governor Ibrahim Shema echoed similar sentiments, describing Yar’adua as a distinguished leader who prioritized service to the nation and its people.

Sen. Abdulaziz Yar’adua, the late president’s younger brother, reflected on his upbringing under President Yar’adua’s care, expressing gratitude for the valuable lessons learned from him.
One of Yar’adua’s children, Shehu Umaru Yar’adua, recalled his father’s constant advice to “always fear Allah and seek knowledge,” urging continued prayers for his father’s soul.
