On Monday, the Senate granted confirmation to 45 of the 48 individuals who had been nominated as ministers by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This endorsement followed a comprehensive eight-day screening process.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio confirmed the approval of 45 nominees, while the remaining three – Nasir Elrufai (Kaduna), Abubakar Sani Danladi (Taraba), and Stella Okotete (Delta) – were awaiting the completion of security clearance procedures.
