Al Nassr secured a comfortable 3-1 victory against Al Raed in the Saudi Pro League on Saturday, with goals coming from Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, and Anderson Talisca, leadership reports.

Coming back from the international break, Cristiano Ronaldo displayed his determination against Al-Raed. Despite enduring some rough challenges from the home defenders, the Portuguese star didn’t hesitate to take several long-range shots in the first half. His closest attempt saw him narrowly miss the target with an 18-yard free-kick. However, it was Sadio Mane who broke the deadlock with an angled drive just before halftime.

In the second half, Anderson Talisca, who came on as a halftime substitute, extended Nassr’s lead with a powerful 30-yard strike. Ronaldo, seemingly inspired by this, continued his quest for a spectacular goal.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner eventually found the back of the net with 11 minutes remaining. He cut inside onto his left foot and unleashed an unstoppable shot into the bottom corner. Later in the match, the hosts managed to score a consolation penalty, and Ronaldo had a potential second goal disallowed by VAR for offside.

While not Cristiano Ronaldo’s best performance since joining Saudi Arabia, it was certainly far from his worst.
