A man attempting to snatch a phone reportedly met with an accident as he was struck by a car while crossing Zoo Road in Kano State. The Kano State Police Command’s spokesperson, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed the incident through his social media accounts on Sunday evening,Daily Trust report.
Kiyawa stated, “I have received a report from Zoo Road that an individual attempted to snatch a woman’s phone. He was in the process of crossing the road when a car collided with him. It is necessary to transport him to the hospital.”

Providing an update on the situation, Kiyawa mentioned that the suspect was currently undergoing medical treatment for the injuries he sustained. He remarked, “Following his admission to the hospital, he exhibited some movement, but he has suffered a broken spine and a cracked head.” Additionally, he mentioned that the hospital was considering transferring him to the emergency department.
