JAMB has recently disclosed an additional 531 results from the 2024 UTME, raising the total count to 1,842,897. Over 64,000 withheld results are under review as promised. Additionally, 92 cases of exam misconduct have been identified, up from the initial count of 81,leadership reports.

In a statement by Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, the board is addressing cases of unverified candidates and false claims. Reports of unauthorized individuals obtaining scores are denounced as fake and malicious, aimed at tarnishing the board’s reputation.

JAMB emphasizes the integrity of its examination process, dismissing allegations of score manipulation. Mischief makers are manipulating results to deceive candidates, prompting JAMB to tighten security measures. Going forward, additional features like registration numbers will be integrated into result checks to prevent tampering.

Candidates are warned against associating with fraudulent activities, as collaboration will lead to consequences. The current method of result verification is via SMS, and results are not yet available on the board’s website.
