Senator Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, has instructed a comprehensive investigation into an alleged misconduct involving an official of the Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Authority (KASTLEA), as depicted in a widely circulated video on social media,Daily Trust reports.

According to reports gathered by Daily Trust, the video purportedly shows the said official diverting funds intended for the government’s treasury using a Point of Sale (POS) machine subsequent to the apprehension of a motorist.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, the governor’s spokesperson, reiterated the administration’s staunch stance against corrupt activities within its Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs), and other state-owned entities.

The statement underscores the government’s commitment to safeguarding its citizens from fraudulent behavior perpetrated by a minority of individuals.

Shehu further encouraged residents to report any instances of wrongdoing to the appropriate authorities, pledging that any implicated official, following a thorough investigation, would be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
