One Nalkur Zwalnan Lar, a student of the Federal Government University in Kashere (FUK) in Gombe State, who is in the 400th level of studies, hanged himself to death outside the school.
As sources told LEADERSHIP, the deceased killed himself in the Santuraki housing complex near the telecommunication mast.
It was discovered that Lar committed suicide after returning to his studies after the withdrawal of the ASUU strike.

The deseased hanged himself after his rich father had failed to buy him an Android phone of N50, 000.
According to his neighbors who found the farewell letter written by the deceased, the deseased exemplified that he does not deserve to continue living in this world since he cannot own a N50, 000 phone while his rich father has “millions of Naira”.
They also said that he expressed his anger and concern because his girlfriend who has married someone else without his knowledge, adding that she betrayed him and cheated on him, and not getting the money from his father made him even more angry to take this step of self-destruction.
