Senator Engineer David Nweze Umahi, the Honorable Minister of Works, extends his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim community nationwide in celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud festival, which commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad,leadership reports.
In a personally signed statement, Umahi encourages the Muslim community to embody the virtues exemplified by Prophet Muhammad and uphold the values of his teachings.
He conveys, “As you partake in this significant occasion, may the joy of this celebration fortify our determination to labor for the betterment of humanity. May it also grant us the divine guidance to embrace the virtues of peace, honesty, generosity, self-discipline, and sacrifice—attributes championed by Prophet Muhammad and the principles he espoused.”

He acknowledges the resolute mission of the administration led by our esteemed President, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to restore our nation’s dignity. This mission calls for sacrifices and the display of the best qualities by all Nigerians, regardless of their language, faith, or social class.
Umahi assures that the challenges of the present moment will eventually dissipate, and Nigeria, our beloved nation, will once again rise to prominence among nations. This vision aligns with Mr. President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
