The Yobe Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has mobilized 862 personnel to ensure a smooth Eid-el-Fitr celebration in the state. Mr. Bala Garba, the command’s Public Relations Officer, revealed this information to journalists on Sunday in Damaturu,Daily Trust reports.

Garba elaborated that the State Commandant, Mr. Adamu Zakari, deployed these personnel across the 17 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state in anticipation of the Sallah festival. He specified that the operatives were drawn from various units including the Female Strike Force (FSF), Counter Terrorist Squad (CTS), Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Anti Vandal department, Intelligence and Investigations (INTs), Agro Rangers, and Operations department.

Furthermore, Garba emphasized that they were instructed to adopt a proactive approach and to treat individuals with respect while carrying out their responsibilities. (NAN)
