Doctors and the Palestinian Red Crescent in Gaza have received orders from Israel to evacuate Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City. The hospital currently houses 400 patients, and the organization has deemed it impossible to move them. Approximately 14,000 civilians are also taking refuge within the hospital and its grounds,leadership report.

During the night, thousands of people in Gaza accessed aid depots to obtain essential supplies like flour, according to the UN relief agency for Palestinian refugees.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported the entry of more troops into the territory overnight, with warplanes targeting over 450 Hamas-related sites. Israel’s airstrikes on Gaza have been ongoing since the Hamas attacks on October 7th, which resulted in 1,400 casualties and the kidnapping of 230 individuals as hostages.

According to the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza, over 8,000 people have lost their lives since Israel’s retaliatory bombing began, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,400.
