In a bid to enhance the road infrastructure in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Minister Nyesom Wike has announced that he will officially commence the resurfacing, rehabilitation, and necessary bridge repairs for key roads in the territory on September 11,leadership reports.
The minister’s office, represented by Anthony Ogunleye, the director of press affairs, released a statement outlining the scope of the resurfacing project. This initiative will encompass 135 roads situated in Garki, Wuse, Gwarimpa, and Maitama districts.

The inaugural ceremony is scheduled to take place along the Ladoke Akintola Boulevard in Garki II, Abuja. This marks a significant milestone as it represents the minister’s commitment to expediting infrastructure development within the nation’s capital. The event is set to commence at 2:00 pm.
