Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, along with former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar and General Aliyu Gusau, paid a visit to ex-Military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida at his Hill Top residence in Minna, Niger State, on Sunday,Daily Trust reports.
According to Daily Trust, Obasanjo arrived at Minna International Airport around 4:30 p.m. aboard a Gulfstream 5 aircraft. He proceeded directly to General Babangida’s residence, where he met with Abdulsalami and Gusau.
A source familiar with the visit revealed that the four elder statesmen held a closed-door meeting that lasted approximately an hour, after which Obasanjo departed Minna at about 6:20 p.m.
The source suggested that the meeting likely focused on national issues, particularly the economic challenges currently affecting the country. “While I cannot confirm the specifics of the discussion, it probably addressed the ongoing hardships faced by Nigerians,” the source said.

“Obasanjo arrived in Minna with a group of 10 people and went straight to IBB’s residence, where he was joined by Generals Abdulsalami and Gusau. He flew in on a chartered aircraft and landed at Minna Airport,” the source added.
