Rep. Abdussamad Dasuki Donates N100 Million in Ramadan Palliatives to Constituents
The House of Representatives member for Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency, Rep. Abdussamad Dasuki, has donated N100 million as Ramadan palliatives to his constituents,leadership reports.
Presenting the cheque on Friday in Sokoto to a 35-member Ramadan Palliatives Committee, Dasuki emphasized the importance of the initiative, given the current economic situation and the upcoming Holy Month of Ramadan.

“With Ramadan approaching, we want to ensure that Muslim faithful in Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency receive support as they observe this sacred period, which is one of the pillars of Islam. The committee will determine the type of palliatives to be distributed,” he stated.
The committee, which includes Imams and community leaders from the constituency, is tasked with procuring and distributing the palliatives before Ramadan begins.
“Our goal is to ensure that these palliatives reach the people in time to provide relief during the Holy Month,” Dasuki added.
The committee is chaired by Hon. Abubakar Sadiq Sanyinna, chairman of the Elders Committee in Tambuwal, with Hon. Adamu Haruna Kebbe, former Special Adviser to Governor Aminu Tambuwal on Special Duties, serving as deputy chairman. The committee’s secretary is Hon. Attahiru Danmadi, Senior Legislative Assistant to Rep. Dasuki. Other members include Hon. Alhaji Haruna Kamaniya, PDP Chairman for Kebbe Local Government Area, and Hon. Alhaji Ummaru Sarkin Noma, PDP Chairman for Tambuwal Local Government Area.
Rep. Dasuki encouraged the people of Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency to embrace charity and generosity, emphasizing that Ramadan is not only a fundamental pillar of Islam but also a time to foster unity and compassion within the Muslim community and society at large.
