The Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF) has strongly condemned the attack in Mafa, Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State, which claimed 34 lives,Daily Trust reports.
Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, Governor of Gombe State and chairman of the forum, expressed deep outrage, describing the attack as a senseless act of violence that has caused immense grief to the affected families and communities.

In a statement issued by his spokesman, Ismaila Uba Misilli, Governor Yahaya acknowledged the efforts of security forces in combating terrorist remnants but emphasized the urgent need for intensified efforts to track down and apprehend those responsible for this atrocity, along with other criminal elements operating in the region.
“This heinous act must not go unpunished. I call on security agencies to redouble their efforts in ensuring that the perpetrators are swiftly brought to justice,” Governor Yahaya said.
