He stressed the importance of moving away from rent-seeking behaviors and becoming more productive to combat economic sabotage such as smuggling and theft.

The president praised the National Assembly’s leadership for supporting his administration, which has led to significant developments.
“It is a great pride for me to have the best of partners in the National Assembly. We have to be all-inclusive in our efforts to satisfy our people. It is daunting, but we cannot run away from the fact that this country must survive the hardship,” Tinubu remarked.
Acknowledging the nation’s difficulties, Tinubu assured Nigerians of his commitment to making improvements.
“Yes, there is poverty; there is suffering in the land. We are not the only ones facing such a challenge, but we must address it ourselves. We must eliminate banditry and terrorism so that farmers can safely produce food. If we lack good roads to transport the food, we lose 60-70 percent to damages, and we will pay the price,” Tinubu explained.
