The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, officially launched daily flight operations from Abuja to Bauchi through Value Jet Airline, assuring passengers of their safety,leadership reports.
Governor Mohammed emphasized that this initiative is a fundamental part of his administration’s efforts to improve transportation, facilitate the movement of goods, services, and people, and boost the state’s growth. He stressed that transportation is the lifeblood of a thriving economy, and flights from Abuja to Bauchi serve as a vital connection linking the state with the rest of the nation, enabling the exchange of commerce, ideas, and culture.
During the launch of the daily flights at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport in Bauchi, Governor Bala Mohammed reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to ensuring ease of business, security, and safe transportation of people and goods within Bauchi State.

He acknowledged that the government had made significant investments in road networks but recognized the equal importance of air travel. The Bauchi State International Airport, also known as Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, serves not only Bauchi but also neighboring states like Yobe, Jigawa, Gombe, and Adamawa.
Governor Mohammed expressed gratitude to Value Jet Airline for selecting Bauchi as one of its destinations, seeing it as a testament to the vast potential and opportunities the state offers. He assured the airline of the state government’s unwavering support and commitment to ensuring its profitability and smooth operations in Bauchi.
He reiterated the government’s dedication to promoting ease of doing business and ensuring passenger safety, emphasizing that under his leadership, Bauchi is open to conducting business with the world.
Earlier, Captain Dapo Maje Kodunmi, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Value Jet Airline, promised improved services to passengers as part of their partnership with the state government.
