Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq urged this year’s hajj pilgrims from the state to act as good ambassadors of Kwara and Nigeria during their time in Saudi Arabia. He made this appeal while addressing the pilgrims at the Babatunde Idiagbon International Airport in Ilorin on Thursday,leadership reports.
LEADERSHIP reports that the fifth batch, consisting of 315 intending pilgrims, departed Ilorin for Saudi Arabia at about 11:18 am on Thursday via Air Peace Airline.

The governor gifted each pilgrim $100 and assured them of the state government’s continued support for the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board to ensure a smooth hajj experience.
The chairman of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Prof. Mashood Mahmud-Jimba, expressed gratitude to the governor for his unwavering support for the Board and its initiatives.
