The Jos Electricity Distribution Company’s management has announced that customers in Gombe State should expect power outages on Tuesday and Wednesday due to the annual maintenance activity in the area,Daily Trust reports.
According to a statement from Dr. Friday Adakole Elijah, the Head of Corporate Communications based in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, the maintenance is part of the Annual Preventive Maintenance Exercise conducted by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).

“The management of Jos Electricity Distribution Company wishes to notify its valued customers in the Gombe region about an upcoming power outage. This is to facilitate the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) technical crew in conducting the Annual Preventive Maintenance exercise on the T2A-150MVA Transformer at the 330KV Gombe TS,” the statement explained.
