A woman named Rahimat Salaum has allegedly killed her paralyzed husband in the Pegi area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT),Daily Trust reports.
SP Josephine Adeh, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, stated on Tuesday that the woman was arrested by Command operatives from the Pegi Police Division on Monday.
According to Adeh, the woman was attempting to flee with her husband’s belongings when police operatives apprehended her.
“Upon interrogation, the suspect admitted to killing her husband after a fight ensued between them. She subsequently led the police to an uncompleted building where she had dumped the gruesomely burned body,” Adeh said.

While the investigation is ongoing, the FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth C. Igweh, assured that justice will be served.
