The state government of Bauchi, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, has appreciated the contribution of the former councilors whose term ended in the last few weeks to the development of the community.
The governor expressed this gratitude when he met with the former councilors of 323 councils across the state this Tuesday at the Banquet hall at the government house.
The Governor appreciated the counselors for the kind of leadership they have shown in peace with the leaders of their local governments and he wished them all the best in their future lives, saying that it is not surprising that they are politicians who are closest to the community. Some of them are in the high positions they held in the past.
The Governor urged them to continue to contribute to the PDP winning all its elections in the 2023 election, adding that, they should cooperate with other leaders of their local governments as politicians in seeking the votes of Al’ community.
At the beginning of his speech, the Commissioner for Local Government Affairs Hon Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki said that the former councilors visited the government house to show their gratitude to the Governor and his PDP party for the opportunity given to them to lead the people of their areas and express their satisfaction with the activities implemented by the state government in their areas.
