At least two explosive devices detonated at separate locations in the Dansadau District of Maru Local Government Area (LGA) in Zamfara State,Daily Trust reports.
According to Premium Times, the explosions occurred along the road between Dansadau and Malamawa, as well as on Malele Road, both within the Dansadau district.
A local resident, Nuhu Babangida, reported that passengers aboard a Canter truck narrowly escaped harm after the vehicle, which was loaded with grains, triggered one of the bombs. Babangida noted that the blasts on Malamawa and Malele roads happened simultaneously, but no casualties were recorded.
This marks the third incident involving explosive devices planted along Dansadau Road within a week.

On Wednesday morning, an explosion killed 12 people when a bomb destroyed a bridge at Yar Tasha village. According to Daily Trust, the tragedy occurred around 8 a.m. when a commercial driver transporting passengers to Dansadau town unknowingly drove over the device, believed to have been planted by bandits.
Just days earlier, a similar explosion occurred last Sunday when a suspected bomb detonated under an 18-seater bus, killing the driver, who was the only occupant.
