The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting initially scheduled for Monday afternoon has been postponed,Daily Trust reports.
Ministers who had arrived for the meeting were seen leaving the Council Chambers at the Presidential Villa around noon.
However, only a few ministers had arrived by the time the meeting was rescheduled.
Daily Trust reports that the postponement might be linked to an ongoing security meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, chaired by President Bola Tinubu.

Although the FEC meeting agenda was not made public, the council was likely expected to address the recent protests and decide on a course of action.
This meeting follows President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s nationwide broadcast on Sunday morning, in which he urged protesters to suspend their actions and engage in dialogue.
