Former President Olusegun Obasanjo; the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II; Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State; and Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State were among the prominent dignitaries who attended the wedding of Afrobeat star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, to his fiancée, Chioma Rowland,Daily Trust reports.
Other notable guests included Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State and the immediate-past governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel.
The Afrobeat singer created a buzz on social media over the weekend by sharing pre-wedding photos with Chioma, using the hashtag #CHIVIDO2024.

In addition, Davido, also known as the ‘OBO’ crooner, surprised Chioma with a bridal shower party on Sunday night.
In one of the video clips that surfaced online, Chioma, a chef, narrated how her fiancé planned the party without her knowledge. She explained that Davido had lured her out of the house under the pretense of a dinner date, which turned out to be her bridal shower.
