Vice President Kashim Shettima, Governor of Borno State Babagana Umara Zulum, and Ali Bukar Dalori, the APC National Vice Chairman (North), were among the esteemed guests present at the two raka’at Eid prayers held in Maiduguri,Daily Trust reports.
Imam Idaini of Borno, Shettima Mamman Saleh, led the Eid prayer at the Borno Central Eid ground, Ramat Square, on Wednesday.

During his sermon (khutba), Imam Idaini urged the Muslim community to uphold the virtues instilled during the 30-day Ramadan fast.
Leading the members of the Borno Emirates Council was the Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Elkanemi.
