Katsina State governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has forwarded a list containing 20 nominees to the Katsina State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation as members of the State Executive Council.
According to a statement issued by the Director General (Media) to the governor, Maiwada Danmallam, three commissioners that served under the former governor Aminu Masari made the list.
They are Associate Professor Badamasi Charanchi, former commissioner for education; Musa Adamu Funtua, former commissioner for water resources; and Hamza Sulaiman Faskari, former commissioner for environment.
They also include Professor Ahmed Muhammad Bakori, Ishaq Shehu Dabai, Dr Nasir Muazu Danmusa, Malam Bala Salisu, Professor Ahdulhamid Ahmed, Alh Yusuf Rabiu Jirdede, Aliyu Lawal Zakari, Bishir Tanimu Gambo and Fadila Muhammad Dikko.
Others are Alh. Isah Muhammad Musa and Dr Sani Magaji, Dr. Faisal Umar, Alh. Bello Husaini Kagara, Dr. Bishir Gambo Saulawa, Hajiya Hadiza Yaradua, Hajiya Zainab M Musawa and Alh. Adnan Nahabu.
Meanwhile, the Katsina State House of Assembly at a plenary presided over by Speaker Nasir Yahaya Daura fixed Monday and Tuesday for the screening of the nominees.
