Ex-The Nation, ex-New Telegraph, ex-National Mirror, Oyebanji died 12 days after birthday, and his last Facebook update hours to death shows vanity about life.
Platforms Africa reports that Mr. Ayodele Ojo, a former editor of New Telegraph, one of the newspapers where Oyebanji worked, who announced his death in a Facebook update, noted that the versatile newspaper circulation manager died on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
“Mr. Oyebanji, your departure is so soon. Goodbye Mr Oye. 3/1/23. A versatile newspaper circulation manager,” Ojo wrote.
Oyebanji who died 12 days after his December 22 birthday has, according to checks by Platforms Africa, being sharing touching updates on Facebook about vanity of life.
Four days before his death, he shared a Buddhist post that reads; “Life is not about being rich. Being popular, being highly educated or being perfect. It is about being real, humble and kind.”
A former senior sales manager at The Nation Newspaper, Oyebanji has also worked in that capacity with The National Mirror Newspaper, and New Telegraph newspapers.
His burial arrangements will later be announced by family, Platforms Africa reports.
