Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed Signs Executive Orders and Appoints 11 Special Advisers to Boost Governance
Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, on Tuesday signed two significant Executive Orders aimed at improving governance and facilitating the efficient operation of the state’s daily administrative activities,leadership reports.
The Executive Order 1 of 2025, titled Establishment of Zero Right Free of Way, focuses on protecting children and minors from abduction and trafficking within the state.
The Executive Order 2 of 2025, concerning Telecom Service Providers, is designed to foster the development of strong telecommunications infrastructure. It offers incentives to attract investment while enhancing the ease of doing business in Bauchi State.

Additionally, Governor Mohammed swore in 11 new special advisers to strengthen governance and ensure the effective implementation of the administration’s developmental agenda.
During the ceremony, the governor highlighted that the appointments were made to bring in individuals with expertise, experience, and dedication to help the administration meet its goals and address the aspirations of Bauchi residents.
New Special Advisers and Their Portfolios
The newly appointed advisers and their respective roles are as follows:
- Hon. Sanusi Khalifa: Special Adviser on Solid Minerals
- Hon. Haladu Ayuba: Special Adviser on Societal Reorientation
- Hon. Jidauna Tula: Special Adviser on Legal Matters
- Hon. Adamu Bello: Special Adviser on Commerce and Industries
- Alh. Danladi Mohammed Danbaba: Special Adviser on Humanitarian Affairs
- Hon. Sani Mohammed Burra: Special Adviser on State/National Assembly Matters
- Hon. Yakub Ibrahim Hamza: Special Adviser on Higher Education
- Hon. Shitu Zaki: Special Adviser on Political Matters
- Usman DanTuraki: Special Adviser on Labour Matters
- Prof. Simon Madugu Yalams: Special Adviser on Technical and Vocational Education
- Abubakar Abdulhamid Bununu: Special Adviser on Multilateral Coordination and Regional Integration
Governor’s Charge to the Advisers
While congratulating the appointees, Governor Mohammed urged them to view their appointments as both a challenge and an opportunity to showcase their capabilities. He called on them to exhibit dedication, integrity, and responsibility in serving the people of Bauchi State.
