Bakura Ali, a member of the Civilian JTF, attributed the incident to heavy rainfall in the town. He further informed our correspondent that three individuals were currently undergoing treatment in the general hospital.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, a local government official confirmed that the classroom had been weakened by a previous fire outbreak, and the extended period of heavy rain on Sunday ultimately led to its collapse.
“We have conducted burials for the deceased, including a young boy, in accordance with Islamic traditions,” the official disclosed.
