The Anti-Narcotics Agency of Nigeria, NDLEA, said it arrested 130 people with illegal drugs in Kaduna state in October.
The agency said that seven of the people were women.
The commander of the agency in Kaduna state, Mr Umar Adoro, told the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday that his agency has also destroyed 20 places that are notorious for drug dealing.
The commander also added that they have successfully closed seven houses that are related to drugs.
Adoro said the agency also recovered N300 thousand in N1,000 notes from the arrested drug traffickers.
He added that the seized drugs included 1,388.811 kilograms of cannabis, 0.019 kilograms of Iblis, 0.001 kilograms of heroin, 7.666 kilograms of Tramadol, and 331,786 kilograms of other drugs.
The NDLEA has also held public awareness meetings in secondary schools Kafanchan, Kaduna and Zaria, to inform the public about the effects of illegal drugs.
